Climate Change Project Reflection
Climate change is change in the precipitation cycle. It is a shift in the process by which matter travels through the air, rock and oceans of the biosphere. Global warming, on the other hand, is the earth's rise in temperature - the means by which the human race is effecting ecosystems with pollution.
Climate change must be controlled now because we're the ones worrying about it and we're the one's who will suffer the consequences if we don't. Today, families are suffering from air pollution, firefighters are dying from wildfires and towns are getting flooded. If we don't create an effective solution to climate change, these matters will not only continue, but worsen as time flies right past ourselves.
Our project is accompanied by a research paper that tells you everything I know about climate change. My main creation, though, was the film, which demonstrated none of my knowledge of climate change and instead was made to simply raise awareness. Keeping my film and climate change knowledge separate was the only way I knew how to have both a good project and a good grade.
My largest area of growth during this project was learning to respect other people's distance. Me and Elliot had some trouble editing the project because it was not mine to edit, and I got carried away with telling him what to do. Not doing this and giving him his space to do as he pleases would have been better.
My greatest strength during this project was committing to and successfully writing an entire screenplay for the movie. It took a long time, and many painful hours were served, but in the end I think the movie turned out alright in spite of the story.

The Works of Adolescence
This project is about how the human brain reacts and develops during adolescence. There are many things of which can drastically affect the development of the brain, such as nicotine. My project was particularly focusing on both the psychological and chemical effects nicotine can inflict on teenagers. What made this project important to me was that it completely pertains to my life as an adolescent, as it is incredibly vital to me to know the consequences of smoking, something which I have no interest in. In addition, my father has recently made an attempt to quit smoking, so it’s nice to know the benefits he shall be receiving.
My biggest challenge during this project was finding credible, valid sources for my content. When browsing the infamous and endless internet, it can be very difficult to find the right, non-sketchy websites. This is the same thing I usually deal with during project-time, which is probably because there are so many different sources, and there’s no way to know what content is credible or accurate.
By biggest success during this project was finding lots of useful information for my infographic. In the end, my infographic had tons of content which should serve useful for exhibition. A typically tendency I tend to do for a project is light on content and strong on visuals and spazaz, but I actually did the opposite this time, which I consider progress!
Something I would undoubtedly do to refine my project would be to chop down the wording as much as I can and find a better way to represent my information visually. It’s pretty obvious that my project is a bit clumpy, and my paragraphs are organized in such a way that it’s hard to read. If I could’ve applied a system or way to guide the reader’s attention, I would have absolutely done so. Regardless, I definitely learned something for next time.
